Dental Scrubs by Dental Hygiene Nation

Pittsburgh, April 2017 – Dental Hygiene Nation is a team of hardworking individuals who are determined to change the look of Dentistry. The days of dental professionals wearing traditional, medical scrubs are over. Dental Hygiene Nation has created a scrub specifically geared toward dental professionals.

First and foremost, our scrubs were created to adapt to the dental athlete in you and silhouette a woman’s figure the right way. This helps our scrub wearers look and feel more comfortable and confident at work. The scrubs are curved to flatter all female body types, which is much more feminine than the traditional, unisex scrub. The top includes a chest pocket, which is embroidered with a gold tooth (the DHN way). The scrub pants are a semi fitted straight leg with an ever so comfortable yoga band. Unlike traditional scrubs, our scrubs do not include those dysfunctional pockets that you just don’t know what to do with. Both are made from 100% Polyester, which mean absolutely no wrinkling and much more stretch. The scrub material is also water-wicking, and stain resistant.  They are offered in black, charcoal and ceil blue.

What drives the passion behind the brand? Caitlyn Rastetter, owner and CEO, says, “I went to buy my first pair of scrubs for my freshman year of dental hygiene and, in looking at the racks of 100% cotton scrub tops, I thought they were pretty down right B O R I N G,” she said. “All my other friends were buying new school clothes for their college classes, and I was getting to choose between basic black or blue. When I checked out, having chosen the prestigious ‘Grey's Anatomy' brand, the cashier wanted to know if I was a nurse. Then when I said I was going to be a dental hygienist and she looked at me blankly - I knew I had to do something.”
